Street CraneXpress is committed to safety in all aspects of its work.
Servicing, repairing, upgrading and installing overhead cranes presents very real risks, not least because of the heights involved.
In many cases however, our customer will operate from premises where access to their overhead cranes wasn’t planned into the building. And very often customers will not have dedicated access equipment – such as mobile elevated working platforms (MEWPs) on site either.
To ensure that our customers and engineers are protected from harm, Street CraneXpress has invested in a number of high-quality MEWPs, built by renowned British manufacturer JCB.

These MEWPs, which have been hired from Horizon Platforms, incorporate Street CraneXpress branding and are on hand to help our engineers to properly access overhead cranes, hoists and lifting equipment in the safest possible way.
Our engineers are fully trained to work at height, and they carry a wide range of safety equipment to ensure their safety whilst working at height. This not only keeps everyone safe, but also enables engineers to deliver the best quality work to our customers.
This latest addition to our engineer’s toolkit underlines Street CraneXpress’ ongoing commitment to working safely.
This commitment was recognised recently by LEEA in its annual awards, shortlisting Street CraneXpress in both the ‘Safety’ category and the special ‘Kevin Holmes award’ for investment into personnel development.
